TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES AND TOURNAMENT INFROMATION.
Game schedules are now posted along with important Tournament Information. Please take a minute to read all pages and make sure you understand and comply with the Tournament rules.

Please check the Game Schedule and Referee Assignaments as they have been updated. The game schedule reflects some play time as well as some field adjustments.

SPRING SELECT TOURNAMENT

The Spring Select Tournament is scheduled for June 13 and 14 at the Ab Brown Soccer Complex in Riverside.
U10 thru U14, pool play on Saturday June 13 with semi-finals and finals on Sunday June 14
U16 will play on Sunday June 14

1. Team Referee Deposits are due by May 26th.
2. Each Team will be required to supply 3 volunteers.
3. Each team will be required to supply a referee team of three qualified referees by May 26th.

Please send your volunteer names to Wendy McGuire and your referee names to Rich Fitchelman .
Please review the guidelines, and if you have players that have received RED cards throughout the season, please be aware of the rules in the guidelines regarding playing in the tournament.

All scores have been reported and the website has been updated. Please be aware that all game cards have not been received and there could be changes in the standings.
THE FINAL LIST SHOULD BE READY BY THE END OF THE WEEK, PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR THE FINAL TEAMS ADVANCING.

The tournament will be held June 13th and 14th at the Ab Brown Soccer Complex in Riverside. Teams to advance to play-offs:

B10-Top 8 teams
G10-Top 8 teams
B12-Top 8 teams
G12-Top 8 teams
B14-Top 6 teams
G14-Top 6 teams
B16-Top 2 teams to play for 1st and 2nd on Sunday, June 14
G16-Top 4 teams pool play and finals on Sunday, June 14

Team requirements:
1. Provide a referee team
2. $150.00 referee fee, refundable after assignments are completed, submission date to be determined
3. Provide volunteers to help line fields
4. Provide volunteers on tournament days to check-in teams, set up fields and other duties as they arise.

More details to follow as we get closer to tournament day.

You will notice teams are receiving "Coach and Assitant Coach points", for attending the coaches meeting. Please note that if your region is not showing points and/or your team specifically is not showing points, you will need to contact your Region Coordinator, not the Area Statistician or Area Staff.

There is some confusion on what constitutes the points for this meeting. The meeting that was held in Moreno Valley where coaches and/or a team representative turned in rosters and team information was not a coaches meeting. This was a coaches check-in. Each Region should have held their own Regional Coaches meeting. This is the meeting you would qualify to receive your coach and assistant coach points. There are no points for attending the Coaches Check in meeting that was held in Moreno Valley.

GAME SCORES
Game scores will not appear until BOTH coaches have posted scores. If you have posted your score and do not see the results, it is because the other team has not reported scores. Both teams have until Monday at 12noon to report, so your scores may not appear until after that time.

COACHES POINTS
Coaches points for attending meetings, etc will be posted by the end of March.

Game schedules are now online. Coaches should have access to report games by Monday evening. All teams will receive reporting points through Monday March 9th, as the reporting system was not available. All Games played after March 9th will fall into the Sprint Select Guidelines reporting. To recieve the bonus points for game reporting please remember to report your game scores by Monday at 12noon, 12:01 will result in no points. If a coach cannot login on Tuesday, please have your coordinator contact Cathy or Diana.

Bonus Points, coaches points, etc will not be reflected at this time. They should be completed by the end of this week.

Announcements : GAME REPORTING IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You will be unable to report your game scores until the Area Game Schedules have been posted.

Bonus points for game reporting will be granted until the games have been loaded into our game reporting system.

Please check back daily as the shedules should be posted very soon.

If you try to log in with the information you were given, you will not be granted access as the system will not be working properly until all game schedules are loaded.

Whats happening in Spring Select 2009:

Currently the spring select staff is updating your coordinators on the information that is needed from your teams. Please submit requested information ASAP to your coodinator so we can make sure you have a current and completed roster on file to begin a smooth season.

If you have any roster changes that are being submitted, please follow up and verify it has been received. Do not assume because you sent it we have received it.

Thank you for all your work and all you do for the kids. You are appreciated as volunters.
